John Britten was born on the 1st of august 1950 and died on 5th of september 1995.
John was born from Bruce and Ruveu Britten. His sister was born 10 minutes before midnight but they celebrated there birthdays on different days, even though they are twins ! ! !
John started of restoring an 1927 indian scout motorbike. He even drove himself to school in the scout motorbike.
after that he went to england to work with dr alexander gibbs they worked together for four months. when he got back to new zealand he decided to make his own bike out of carbon fiber ( all of the bike ) he made the britten v1000 in his own garage ( all of it ). he had 8 months to invent a motorbike. when he was done he had a bike that had a speed of 750 cc. in 1992 john and the team went to daytona ( in america ) to race the bike rider was andrew stroud. no races were won but the bike set a record of how fast the bike was !
John Britten died of skin cancer in 1995. if he had not been diagnosed, he would probably still be alive at this very moment and would be living happily 23 days after his sixtieth birthday. If you want to go and see one of his amazing bikes, go to the museum of new zealand te papa tongarewa in wellington, the capital of new zealand (just in case you didnt know that wellington is the capital of new zealand - which it is). john britten rocks ! ! ! ! ! !

• What parts (or steps, if a method) make up the invention, in its best form? 1.get 4 egg yolks and put them in a bowl 2.get 150 grams of caster suger and put it in the bowl 3.whip suger and and egg yolk until nice and creamy 4.put 250mls of milk and cream in the bowl 5.stir the milk , cream , egg yolks and suger until even more creamy 6.pour mixture into icecream machine then turn machine on 7.when the mixture in the machine looks like french vannila get a cup and put 6 tea spoons of milo in the cup and 1 spoon of hot water then mix them then pour that in the mixture 8.when the machine says the icecream is ready take it out and put it in a container 9.when the icecream is in the container pour caremel through it : ) • Which parts are new to this invention (You have added or changed)?
